I received this oven very quickly from Ritz Camera. I had contacted them to say the dimensions shown must be incorrect since the height is given as 18.6″ which from the picture obviously cannot be right – it cannot be taller than it is wide. The company who makes this oven confirmed the real dimensions which are: Width 17″ X Depth 13″ (to fit a 12″pizza) and height just 9″.
Obviously the true dimensions are better than those given. Who wants a toaster oven over 18″ tall?
The oven seems well made and after only one use the fan assisted oven seems to work efficiently and quietly. It was however covered in annoying stickers which are difficult, time-consuming and messy to remove. The pinger or bell when the auto-timer shuts off is almost inaudible. Also, there is no interior light as advertised.

DeLonghi DO1279 6-Slice Toaster Oven Customer Review

This is my second DeLonghi toaster oven. The first one still works just fine, but I wanted also a bigger one, so now I am using both. I still have to get used to the controls of the new one though, therefore I am only giving it a 4 star rating at this point. The first one I bought at least 10 years ago, never had a problem with it, while the cheaper ovens I had before never lasted more than 3 – 4 years. To me it is well worth spending the extra money and have a reliable product. I use the oven a lot, primarily for baking, seldom for toasting. I did some extensive research before I bought this new one and I think it paid off. DeLonghi for me is the only one.
